Jeff Hanson






Jeff is a PhD student in the School of Biological Sciences at The University of Queensland. He is creating algorithms to design reserve networks that are resistant to environmental change and utilize environmental surrogates to maximize biodiversity. Jeff is supervised by Dr Richard Fuller and Dr Jonathan Rhodes. Before starting his PhD, Jeff completed his BSc (majoring in ecology) and honours studies. Later he worked as a research assistant for Jonathan Rhodes on conservation planning in south-east Queensland, and later as a research assistant in the Fuller Lab on mapping tidal flats along the East Asian-Australasian Flyway.
